How to play Arrow Sudoku

This XH0411 page combines Arrow Sudoku with a guide to the decisions it asks you to make. Solve the Sudoku and make the digits on each arrow path sum to the digit in its circle. Use observe, then act to give your round a clear purpose.

8 finite checked puzzles, with local saved progress. No claim of unlimited daily puzzles or calibrated difficulty.

Observe, then act

Look at the full play area and read the status message. Make a deliberate choice and compare the outcome with your expectation.

Your goal

Solve the Sudoku and make the digits on each arrow path sum to the digit in its circle.

Step by step

  1. Select an editable cell.
  2. Enter a value using the keypad or keyboard; Notes stores candidates.
  3. Read the region, cage, arrow or outside clues alongside the normal constraints.
  4. Check entries verifies the completed board; Undo reverses your last input.
  5. New puzzle selects another included puzzle.

Controls

Click or tap cells and the digit pad. Use Notes, Undo and Reveal selected. Large boards scroll inside the game.

A useful example

A circle 7 may have an arrow containing 3 and 4 when the normal Sudoku rules also allow it.

Watch out for this

A full board must obey every extra rule. Reveal supplies assistance; it is not an earned deduction.
